Alison Utting will talk of "Eglantyne and Ellesmere" a local lady, Eglantyne Jebb who founded Save the Children was born in Ellesmere yet hardly heard of here. Some members may have heard this as she did speak at Wem U3A recently but in over a year's time they will have forgotten much of it.
